About Med24

Med24 is a North Jutland-based online health and pharmacy company offering a wide range of over-the-counter medicines, daily health products, and skincare essentials. What makes Med24 stand out is their pioneering role in Nordic e-commerce—they were among the first to deliver these types of products directly to customers’ doors. Known for fast delivery and reliable service, even in remote areas, Med24 has built a strong reputation for accessibility and trust.

The Challenge

When STL first met with Med24, it quickly became clear that the company needed a flexible, scalable solution that could support long-term growth.

Imagine replacing the beating heart of a company with a new one—one that beats faster, stronger, and more efficiently—while the business continues to run at full pace. That’s what it was like implementing Geek+ automation at Med24.

At the time, Med24 already had a fully operational warehouse and packing system. STL’s task was to integrate an automation solution that could future-proof their logistics. The first step was installing the PopPick workstations and preparing them to receive totes from the shelving system once it was in place. To minimize disruption to Med24’s e-commerce operations, we installed the shelving in phases, ensuring order processing could continue with minimal delays.

The Implementation

The project was carried out in two major phases: first 27 shelving units, followed by 75. After these major installations, we continued to add shelves day by day, while a second team dismantled the old system. Gradually, it was replaced by a fully operational Geek+ picking solution—taking Med24’s warehouse efficiency to an entirely new level.

In total, STL implemented 3 PopPick stations and 187 shelving units, supporting a capacity of 13,090 totes—now the operational backbone of Med24’s warehouse.

The Collaboration

As with any large-scale installation, there were challenges along the way. But through open communication and a strong commitment to transparency, STL and Med24 turned those challenges into opportunities.

Today, the warehouse is fully optimized for performance, and operators at the PopPick stations can pick and place items with both speed and ergonomic ease.
